But even though he was only 16, he lived a life so fulfilling. He was loved by so many. He loved unconditionally. He could put a smile on your face when you were having a bad day. He lived life to the fullest. He was so generous too. The day he got his driver's license, when they asked him if he wanted to be an organ donor, without hesitation, he empathetically said, YES! Because of him, I am sure many people were saved or enjoyed a better quality of life. I'm sure, wherever he is, he knows this. Because of him, many people who knew him, who knew of him being an organ donor, who were not organ donors themselves, became organ donors. I am so proud of him, and the way he lead his life, and the way he affected those around him. That's why he is My Hero. We all love you Evan. And we miss you so much. |
